How can I stop the lein?

My friends call me Gene. I'm 63 years old, and I have a 15,000.00 lein on my home. It's due to a hospital bill that I needed for my appendix. The hospital took me to court, and now I'm so stressed that I may lose my home. I'm usually the one to help others, and now I need the help. I recently took in a young woman and her small child because I didn't want them on the street after the child's father evicted them. She is the one who told me about sites like this... She said; It's so sad how the good people suffer so hard financially. I don't care what people say, you can never get used to being broke. Especially when the hole comes from necessity. Thanks for even reading.

I've been struggling with sickness as well as my daughter.  I have severe allergies and she suffers from calcifications on her brain along with severe seizures.  I've been in and out of work since September 2008.  Times are really tough right now.

I am not sure if this is the proper way for me to go, but I am in need of help.  After 50+ years of paying my way I find myself in dire need after two hear attacks, one stroke and an aeorta valve replacement. I am no longrer able to draw in sufficient inome to pay my hospital bills and mortgage.  My wife is frazzled and the stress is effecting our marriage.  Can anyone offer some guideance?  I am afraid we are about to lose our house.  While I understand there are people out there who are probably in worse shape than we are, I still need an angel to assist us.

My name is Heather. I am 20 years old and in Feb I went to the hospital because of severe lower abdominal pain. The doctor couldn't figure out what was wrong with me off the bat so he decided to run every test in the book. Even after that he couldnt figure out what was wrong and decided to diagnos me with having a cyst on one of my ovaries that must have burst. I was forced to take a week off of work and 2 weeks later I recieved a bill for little over 12 thousand dollars. Now I only make 8 dollars an hour and on the papers it said for financial help call, with a number below. I called immediatly to get help. Figured out that it was just for me to apply for Medi-Cal. So I made an appointment. My mother went with me because I still live with my parents. Just a short run-down on my parents; my mother does not work and my father has a good paying job but he got into a car accident that totalled his car and now he has no way to work and he is losing his job. well we lost our house about 6 months ago and are living in a trailor with my grandmother. I sleep on an air mattress in the living room. So my mother and I go an try to get Medi-cal and just on my fathers income I did not qualify, even though he is going to be losing his job and we are basically homeless. I have no other options and I don't know what to do. Im lost and still trying to pay off my car and other debts.

My husband and I are believing God for a happy Christmas this year for our six children.  We are in a financial struggle with all of our bill collectors and trying to barely keep food in the house. So, needless to say there will be no presents for Christmas this year.  In the past three years I have had to have 5 major hip reconstruction and replacement surgeries, totalling around$100,000.00 in hospital bills alone, our insurance is not the best of policies, not to mention the $5,000.00 in physical therapy bills that we owe.  My husband has had to use up all of his vacation and sick time from work and is still required to take off for Dr appt. with me without pay. 

I have been praying for God to show me an answer to our delema, and today, the first time in months since I have been able to sit at the computer I stumble across this site. Thank you Jesus!!!

I have a baby on the way and have many debt issues, I have worked out a plan to my pay Credit card bills that are late. But in April I had to go into the Hospital for more heart problems. I was in there for 2 days and then released. How ever the bills are now catching up to me. My insurance is very bad, they only paid $600 of the $3000. they won't work out payment plan since it is under $5000, they will send it to collections here soon. I have gotten second job but will take to long to get it paid off. Working 75 to 80 a week is getting old and my heart doctor advises me not to work that much. But i'm doing what ever it takes to surpport my baby that is on the way.

I'm a person who has always found it hard to ask for help, I always figured I'd get it done on my own or ended up going without. I'm 53 yrs old now and have a very rare form of cancer called paraganglioma. I am one of a very few number of people (20 or so) who have this where I do. It has left me partially paralyzed in both my lower legs along with almost destroying some of my internal organs. What this does is attack the nerves and causes unbearable pain when I go into spasms. I've had 7 major surgeries on my lower back and have had an implant put in to bloock pain which had to be removed so I can have the MRI's done to check for the cancer, so the pain is back with a vengence again. Needless to say I cannot work anymore and am on permanent disability for which I receive a grand total of $700 a month thanks to my working of the books most of my life.. My wife works as a nursery school teacher and dosen't make all that much, and she even drives a bus to make a little extra, when all is said and done we barely get our rent paid along with the rest of the bills each month. We've cleaned our IRA's out owe the IRS about $4000 at this time and I was just served papers this past saturday that I'm being sued by one of the specialists from my last operation for $4050! I just can't pay these people anymore, I have about $3000 more in medical bills outstanding and my credit is just about ruined now. We don't know where to turn and someone told me about this site so here it goes, if anyone could help us we would honestly appreciate anything from any one. It has got to the point where we have to decide whether to buy food or get my prescriptions some months. Thank you all for any assistance you can offer, Jeff & Diane

I need help paying some hospital bills. I am a mother of two small children, and a few months ago I became ill. I had to be admitted to the hospital for a week and I have no insurance. My bills total over $15,000 including the doctors and labs and everything.

I am looking thru some information about free grant money that is out there.  It seems to me that every website i go too seems to want money for something.  I have a credit cards i need to pay, as well as my student loans, hospitals bills as well.  I need help or would like to recieve info on how to get this free grant money that is out there. and with out paying out .
